Towie’s Saffron takes swipe at new cast members after explosive row
TOWIE’s Saffron Lempriere has taken a swipe at a new cast member in a brutal dig on Instagram.
The star took to the social media site and appeared to hit out – but stopped short of naming her co-star.
Saffron shared a comment from a fan who accused the “new girl” of “digging her out every week with no accountability”.
The 30-year-old star posted a lengthy reply telling her fans that she hadn’t expected the drama.
She said: “To be honest I was told she was a sweet girl…”
Saffrom also hinted more had gone on behind the scenes.
She added: “If there had been an explanation earlier even before the on screen stuff maybe things would have been different.
“However lots of antagonising things were said by a number of cast, of things that had been said about me, by them ironically, that’s not been aired.
“But yeah, s**t happens. I will always stay true to myself it’s pretty clear, it is what it is.”
Saffron has in fact got history with new girl Becks who was introduced to the reality show earlier this month.
It turned out Becks’ mate was dating Saffron’s ex.
Saffron told Junaid about their beef, but he seemingly ignored her concerns and met up with the newbies.
Sharing her frustrations, Saffron later told him: “I opened up to you and said, ‘Do you know what Junaid? I don’t know how I feel about them, I don’t know if I wanted them around.’
“A matter of days, you are out with them.”
In their opening scene, Becks and her fellow newcomer and businnes partner Liv appeared in their salon with Sophie Kasaei.
Becks – who is childhood pals with Elma Pazar and has a surprise connection to Katie Price – opened up to Sophie about her connections to Essex and to Saffron.
She said: “I have actually heard though to grapevine that there is a bit of an issue,” adding that she wanted to be “mature” about it.
It comes as Saffron turned on Jordan Brook a few episodes back.
The lad, 25, who is in a relationship with Sophie Kasaei, could barely get a word in edgeways.
In the brutal attack she accused Jordan of “slagging off” some of his female co-stars she brought up several of his exes.
Among those getting dragged into the conversation were Ella Rae Wise, Chloe Brockett and Lauren Bayford.
Saffron effectively accused Jordan of being a nightmare to date in a bizarre showdown at Amy’s baby shower.
