Ex-Woodstock, Ont., mayor's behaviour 'like Jekyll and Hyde,' woman tells his sexual assault trial

The sexual assault trial of former Woodstock, Ont., mayor Trevor Birtch got underway Monday, with a woman testifying they began an intimate relationship in 2020 and his behaviour would suddenly go from loving to hostile. The accused was charged in 2022 and stepped down from his second term as mayor several months later.
