Crews will work on a mill and overlay on all of the eastbound and westbound lanes on U.S. 92 from U.S. 59/U.S. 92/K-16/Walnut Street south of Oskaloosa to U.S. 92/K-16/Union Street in McLouth.

Work is scheduled to take place Monday through Wednesday during daylight hours, according to a news release. While work is taking place, flaggers and a pilot car will be in charge of operating a single lane of traffic through the workzone. KDOT said drivers should expect delays up to 15 minutes when travelling through the project area.

Message boards will be in place in the area to alert drivers of the upcoming construction. This project is being completed by Bettis Asphalt and Construction, costing $1.9 million. According to KDOT, the construction is expected to be complete by mid-July.
