Furious Love Island fans demand new girl is AXED from the show before even entering the villa
LOVE Island fans urge show bosses to axe one of the new stars before the series has even started.
Harriett Blackmore, 24, has been rumoured to have a ‘secret boyfriend’ and is just using the show for fame.
Her boyfriend Josh Curling, 25, only found out she was a contestant on the show in The Sun’s exclusive line-up reveal.
It is understood she dumped him over text in January after giving him a scrapbook of their relationship together, telling him: “I need time to focus on myself and what I’m doing.”
Despite their split, they are understood to have rekindled their romance in April.
Furious fans are now calling for Harriett to be ditched from the show.
“I feel like girls like Herriett come on the show having a bf on the outside and people just laugh and say she will be a good villian. If this was a boy it would be a different story,” one moaned.
“Same thing happened with Tanyel and she got engaged to her bf at home immediately after the show, the other girl from season 6 did the same thing,” they continued.
“I think if you have a boyfriend you should be removed from the show. It’s so obvious herriett isn’t going for love or to find a connection. I hate when a season starts like this cos it always ends up lacklustre.”

Another agreed, and said: “This is the number 1 thing that annoys me about contestants, when they have secret partners on the outside. Ofc she will be good drama , but the fact she apparently visited her “ex “ a week ago and told him she loved him is ridiculous.”
“I’m all for people going in for the clout, it’s Love Island after all. But yea, if you have a partner on the outside that’s a completely different story,” a third wrote.
Josh and Harriett were together for three years and Josh had a short fling with another girl after they split.
A source said: “Josh had suspicions she was going on the show. She was going up to London and saying she was being interviewed for Pretty Little Thing.
“He asked if she was going on but at the time she said she would never go on Love Island.
“Josh feels like he’s been led down a garden path. He was in love and during their relationship they were talking about moving out and getting married.
“They had a good relationship but it fizzled out in January when they started arguing all the time.
“But they seemed to have been working on getting back to where they were.”
