Wildfire causes evacuations in Arizona desert community of Kearny

KEARNY, Arizona: As a wildfire threatens the rural community of Kearny, police have evacuated 180 residents.

Thus far, two buildings in Kearny have been destroyed by the wildfire.

The wildfire began Tuesday, scorching 475 acres and has not been contained, said Tiffany Davila, spokesperson for the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management.

Kearny is a desert community located 75 miles north
