This is going to be an interesting finals

With the Boston Celtics and the Phoenix Suns set to square off in the NBA Finals next week, it raises a bit of a dilemma for Duke fans: who are you pulling for?

The Mavericks have Kyrie Irving, who has found new life in Dallas after being unhappy in Cleveland, Boston and worst of all in Brooklyn, and rookie Dereck Lively, who has been terrific in his first season but who recently lost his mother.

Boston has Jayson Tatum, who has basically done everything you can do by the age of 26 other than win a title. He has been ripped over the years for not doing that, as if somehow only Tatum matters. Seeing him win a title would be great and it would help to establish him as one of Boston’s finest players (with the Celtics, winning a title is mandatory to be considered great).

And don’t forget that Amile Jefferson, one of the greatest winners in Duke history, is now an assistant for the Celtics. A championship would improve his already glowing reputation. Now 31, it’s not hard to imagine him getting his own head coaching job soon.

So anyway: how do you see this? Who are you pulling for? Hit this poll to let us know!
