mjd2505I don't disagree, but our expectations are high. I think a lot of us expect automatic promotion and the playoffs to be a bare minimum. To get those kinds of points on the board (for autos this is) you can't afford to start slow. We've got a manager to find and probably 15 odd players to sign - it'd be best to get a lot of it done as early as we can.
I do understand the nervousness to an extent. Not to some of the hysteria you see particularly on twitter, though.
But for all we know, the club has several players signed/ almost signed.
Just waiting until after the new manager is announced before sending them into the Kop with a scarf.
