High pressure over the Carolinas will provide another nice day, with temperatures warming into the seasonable upper 70s. High clouds will thicken ahead of an approaching low-pressure system from the west.
A few periods of light rain will arrive overnight and linger on Sunday morning. Clouds will stay much of the rest of the day, keeping readings in the 70s.
The weather will turn warmer early next week, with scattered showers and a few storms returning by midweek with a storm system affecting reaching the West Coast this weekend.
