Could have picked better! say furious Britain’s Got Talent fans as they slam judge’s wildcard act moments into final

THE TRICKSTARS have been brought back by popular demand for a second chance to win Britain’s Got Talent.

The dog act featuring Lucy Heath and her team of amazing trick dogs finished in the top three during the first semi-finals.

After announcing the news, Simon Cowell admitted: “You know the conversation lasted 20 seconds.

“We all said the same act so it was a very, very, very easy decision.”

But a lot of fans of ITV fans were less than impressed and took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their thoughts.

One wrote: “I’m outraged that the bloody dog act is the wildcard there were so many better performances & choices they could’ve made #BritainsGotTalent.”

A second echoed: “A f*cking dog act as the wildcard. All that talent they could have picked.”

A third added: “Are you kidding me? What the hell is this wildcard?”

However, not all comments were negative and some were pleased to see Trickstars back in the competition.

One X user said: “I think Tricksters is great!”

Another said: “So so want Trickstars to win.”

Lucy is no stranger to BGT, having auditioned for both Series 9, Series 10, and Series 17, yet with different dogs on all three occasions.

In Series 10 she auditioned with Trip Hazard and the pair reached the final.

Then in series 17 she auditioned with Strike, Tempo, Peach and Trip Hazard and they reached the semi-finals.

They now join the 10 acts who made it through to the semi-finals and have already secured their place in the final.

Among the hopefuls are rival magicians Jack Rhodes and Trixy, along with singers Innocent Masuku, Sydnie Christmas, and Northants Sings Out.

Meanwhile, skipping enthusiasts Haribow face off against Taekwondo group Ssalubi and dancing duo Abigail and Afronitaaa.

And let’s not forget comedian Alex Mitchell and impressionist Mike Woodhams, who aim to win over the audience with their humour.

There is a huge cash prize of £250,000 up for grabs tonight as well as a spot to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.

This will take place later in the year on November 22 at the incredible Royal Albert Hall.

Tonight the viewers at home and those in the live studio audience will be treated to a performance from the cast of Mamma Mia! The Musical.

The West End show currently features Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream winners Stevie Doc and Tobias Turley, who now play Sophie and Sky.

They are joined by a stellar cast including Mazz Murray as Donna Sheridan.
