Me and a mate started going to watch RL in the early 2000's just for a new sport to watch, so I was lucky enough to see him and that great Leeds side in their pomp a fair few times in Grand Finals, WCC etc. Some player, some family and clearly a well loved man in a sport full of hard barstewards and niggly northerners. Gutted for him and everyone who knew/loved him.
