According to HITC, Tottenham Hotspur are one of several Premier League sides who are keeping tabs on Bryan Mbeumo after the forward expressed his desire to seek a fresh challenge away from Brentford.
Mbeumo joined Brentford back in 2019 when they were in the Championship and he has developed steadily since and is now one of most feared attackers in the Premier League.
The Frenchman, who is a right winger by trade but can also operate as a number nine or a number ten, really stepped up in the 2023-24 season when Ivan Toney was suspended, finishing the campaign with nine goals and six assists in 25 league outings (Transfermarkt).
In an interview with L’Equipe a few days ago, the 25-year-old admitted that he now feels he is ready to make the step up to a bigger club.
Tottenham and Liverpool both like Bryan Mbeumo
HITC have asserted that Mbeumo’s statement has alerted a number of big sides, including Spurs, who are now keeping an eye on the player’s situation.
In fact, it is asserted that Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle United have all been made aware by intermediaries that the Brentford star would be open to a transfer.
However, the publication asserts that Thomas Frank’s men do not wish to lose the attacker and are expected to demand a fee in excess of £50 million for their star man.

With Brentford set to lose Ivan Toney this summer, the West London club would be determined to ensure they do not lose Mbeumo in the same window.
So they would fight tooth and nail to keep the 25-year-old and might even demand close to £60m, which I doubt too many clubs would be willing to pay.
