MMA star rushed to hospital after being faceplanted and ‘knocked out COLD’ as fans gasp ‘blink and you’ll miss it’
MMA star Ion Surdu faceplanted his opponent before brutally knocking him out cold.
The Romanian faced David Kozma in the co-main event of Oktagon 58 at Slavia Prague’s 20,00-seat Fortuna Arena.

Another added: “Wow, Ion Surdu completely flattened David Kozma with a beautiful counter just then. He didn’t have a chance.”
One commented: “Wow, incredibly subtle check right hook from Ion Surdu earns him a KO win over David Kozma.

“Live feed didn’t even really catch the shot because of how sneaky it was… Replay showed that a clear as day right hand connected though.”
Surdu was rewarded with a fight for the vacant Oktagon welterweight against Amiran Gogoladze.
Kozma was meanwhile taken to hospital as a precaution, Oktagon officials confirmed.
