Rain early Sunday before clearing this afternoon, pleasant day ahead

What We’re Tracking

  • Widespread rain ends
  • Cooler Sunday afternoon
  • Slow warming trend this week

The southern half of the viewing are had storms roll through overnight. A lot of the heavier rain has since moved out but everyone is seeing widespread light to moderate rainfall this morning. This system should move out a few hours after sunrise.

There may be a few lingering clouds through midday as the surface ridge to the north of us continues to build keeping our area dry. We should start to clear things out and see a lot more sunshine by the afternoon as temperatures stay on the 'cooler' side with highs in the upper 70s to around 80°.

We do start to see a slow warming trend for this week. We'll start off the week with highs in the lower 80's for Monday and then warming to the lower 90's by the end of this week. Typical high for this time of year is middle 80's. We will stay mostly dry and warm this week with a slight chance of showers late Tuesday.
