Columbus shooting that killed teen remains unsolved two years later

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Authorities are offering a cash reward for answers to a fatal 2021 shooting that left a 16-year-old dead in northeast Columbus.
Officers responded to the scene in the 2000 block of Willamont Ave. at about 8:59 p.m. on Nov. 4, 2021, after report of shooting, according to the Columbus Division of Police. Rycheous McKinney, 16, was found suffering from a gunshot wound then transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for the shooting, and is asking anyone with information to call 614-461-TIPS or visit www.stopcrime.org and to submit a tip.
All tips are anonymous, and Crime Stoppers does not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations.
