Naomi Campbell Reveals the Strict Ban Against Her Daughter to Make Her Not Do This for Decades

While Naomi Campbell has become an icon through modeling, she’s taken on a new role: mother of two. She’s been killing it still with modeling, and has been such an amazing mother to her children; and in a super-rare interview, she revealed how she won’t let those two worlds come together.

Let us explain. In a rare, recent interview with the Sunday Times, Campbell revealed that she won’t let her children join in on the modeling world, especially as young as when she joined it.

Campbell’s modeling career started when she was only 15 years old with a photoshoot for ELLE in New Orleans; and she doesn’t want that for her daughter.

“I’m not sure I would let her start working at 15. It’s a ruthless world,” she said. “My mother worked so I was independent. It’s a great thing if children display that quality, so I don’t worry about working with my own children.”

So, there you have it, while her children have Campbell genes, we won’t see them modeling anytime soon!

Campbell secretly welcomed her daughter and announced it back in May 2021, giving small glimpses into her life as a new mom. Then, in June 2023, she announced the birth of her son. While she’s never released many details or their names, she did recently confirm she welcomed them via surrogacy.

In the same interview, she talked about how much she adores her children: “My babies are everything to me. It’s made me fear for the future. I hope for a better world for my children. They are 110 percent my priority. I have to be there for them on their first day at school,” she said.
