Thousands gathered for the festival on June 8 at the Los Angeles State Historic Park, celebrating the diverse LGBTQ+ community with colorful attire and artistry. The lively event honored LGBTQ+ history and representation through art, music, “Pride Village” exhibitors, giveaways, and ballroom performances from the region’s diverse house scene.
Performers included headliner Ricky Martin — the first openly gay Latin artist to take center stage at L.A. Pride, for Martin’s first-ever headliner Pride performance — and artists Muna, Tokischa and JoJo Siwa. Elected officials including L.A. Mayor Karen Bass, and the drag queens from the cast of the Max series “We’re Here” made an appearance.

The festival included a new trans lounge for folks who identify as transgender, nonbinary and allies, an 18+ “Erotic City,” and a dedicated sober space.
The official theme for this year’s L.A. Pride weekend is “Power in Pride,” recognizing the LGBTQ+ community for “living authentically through strength and resilience,” organizers said.
The “Pride in the Park” celebration also included support from L.A. professional sports teams, “coming together to champion the LGBTQ+ community” and diversity at LA Pride weekend — including the L.A. Dodgers, L.A. Lakers, L.A. Rams, Angel City Football Club and the Los Angeles Football Club. Interactive games and activities highlighted “the unifying power of sports and the strength found in pride,” organizers said.
