A BEAUTY fan has shared a drag performer-approved tip that keeps their makeup bulletproof.

But they warned that a little bit of the product goes a long way, and others who have used it agreed.

Redditor SeditionInMyPockets shared the makeup recommendation in a viral post.

“[I] got a great tip a few years ago from a drag performer for a facial antiperspirant that works as a primer,” they said.

They revealed that the $18 Neat 3B Face Saver Gel for Facial Sweating worked wonders to lock in their products.

Since discovering the gem, they haven’t looked back.

“I’ve used it ever since. I’m not super physically active, but I start sweating quickly in the heat, and it’s helped a lot,” they said.

They warned beginners not to go overboard with the effective “primer.”

“Fair warning — a little goes a long way, and if you apply too much, it’ll start to pill.

“I’m also glow-in-the-dark white, so I couldn’t say whether it leaves a cast, but the gel itself is clear.”

Those who experience facial sweating vouched for the gel’s strength.

One woman praised the product after using it for her wedding ceremony.

“My makeup artist used this on my upper lip for my wedding — worked a treat!” she said.

“She did say that if I used it a lot it could cause skin irritation, so best to save it for special occasions and heavy makeup days. But [it] definitely worked well.”

Other heavy sweaters shared their makeup favorites to keep moisture at bay.

“On the very worst days when I would sweat as I got ready for work and I knew it would be a scorcher, I used a very matte primer like Benefit’s Porefessional,” said one.

“I’d then apply my usual Studio Fix liquid foundation but a bit less than usual and only the slightest bit of concealer.”

The key, they added, is to use minimal makeup on areas where the sweating is prominent.

“I would not apply a ton of foundation to my forehead or my upper lip area, basically the areas where I sweat the most,” they said.

“When I got to work and was finally in air conditioning, I would then touch up my forehead and upper lip with my Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation.

“[It] worked pretty well for me, as my T-zone is quite oily, and I sweat if you look at me wrong.

“I work in a lab and teach in a classroom, so I don’t have a lot of time for touching up my face throughout the day.”
