‘Absolutely shocked and a bit confused,’ thrifter says after finding a designer handbag new with tags for $6
A BARGAIN shopper has shared the designer handbag deal they found at a thrift store.
The befuddled thrifter was shocked that they could pick up the fashion find — new with tags — for just $6.
Redditor Creative_usrname69 shared the designer thrift find in a viral post.
“Absolutely shocked and a bit confused,” they said.
“[I] found this cute little dude NWT today for $6.
“Gonna go pray to the thrift store bag gods, I guess.”
They shared photos of their latest black leather Gucci Tifosa bag, complete with gold hardware and the Gucci logo on a gold embossed plate.
The convertible strap ball shoulder bag included dual flat handles, leather lining, and a removable shoulder strap.
True to their word, the bag came with its original price tag still on, revealing that the accessory retails for $620.
A deeper investigation, however, revealed that the bag was worth much more.
One viewer thought the thrift store might have made a mistake by selling the bag for just $6.
“I think they meant $620; you got lucky,” they said.
“I was able to read the price on the tag underneath the top sticker, and it says $1,795. I will definitely enjoy it, thank you!” the Redditor replied.
