And one product in particular has caught the attentions of shoppers looking to make the most of their next holiday in the sun.

The retailer is selling a drinks clip which attaches to your lounge chair, beach chair or table and can hold your favourite alcoholic drink.

The nifty device comes in multiple colours and is on sale for just £4.

One shopper recently spotted the gadget in their local Home Bargains branch and posted a photo of it on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

The post has notched up plenty of likes and comments from shoppers keen to snap one of the summer buys up.

One, tagging a friend, said: “Run don’t walk to Home Bargains lol.”

A second simply said: “Omg”.

And a third added: “Need it.”

Of course, whenever buying any product, make sure you shop around to ensure you’re getting the best deal.

Websites like Price Spy and Trolley let you compare prices on thousands of items, for example.

The Google Shopping/Product tab is useful if you’re wanting to do a quick scan of the internet too.

We had a quick check to see if any other retailers are selling anything similar to Home Bargains’ cup holder for less.

EBay is selling individual cup holders for £4.88 each and they come with free postage. Or you can buy four or more for £4.39 each.

Mountain Warehouse also has one you can clip to any camping chair for £6 if that’s more what you are after.

How to bag a bargain

SUN Savers Editor Lana Clements explains how to find a cut-price item and bag a bargain...

Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.

Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.

Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.

Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.

When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.

Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.

Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.

And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.

If you are keen on the Home Bargains drinks clip, bear in mind it is not for sale online.

It might be worth calling your local branch ahead to see if they have any in stock too.

You can find your nearest branch by using the retailer’s store locator tool on its website.

The sun lounger cup holder from Home Bargains is not the first product that’s had shoppers singing from the rafters in recent months.

The discounter re-launched £5 solar garden lights in April, before quickly selling out.

It has since been adding stock back to shelves with shoppers keen to pick one up to adorn their outdoor spaces.

That said, it’s not currently available to buy on the the Home Bargains website.

Again, it might be worth seeing if your local branch has any in stock if you’re keen to sharpen up your green patch.

Home Bargains shoppers were also left rushing to buy a “lovely” garden plant scanning for under £4 at the tills last month.

Savvy savers spotted the Acer plants in store for just £3.79.

Meanwhile, customers were left raving about a designer perfume dupe selling for just £1.99 at the discounter.
