New York: Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah overtook all-rounder Hardik Pandya to become the Men in Blue’s third-highest wicket-taker in T20I cricket. Bumrah accomplished this feat with India’s narrow six-run win over Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2024 at the Nassau County International Stadium in New York on Sunday.

In second place is India’s swing specialist, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who has 90 wickets in 87 matches at an economy rate of 6.96, with the best figures of 5/4.

If Bumrah keeps on going like this then he will soon become India’s leading wicket-taker in T20Is and may also become the first Indian bowler to reach 100 wickets in the T20 format.
