OSBI assisting Minnesota police in murder investigation

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Bloomington Police Department in a murder investigation.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (KFOR) - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Bloomington Police Department in a murder investigation.

According to Bloomington Police, April Pease went missing in Minnesota in March 2009. Based on the information found during the investigation, Cedric Marks and Kellee Sorensen have been charged with Pease's murder.

Officials say Marks has ties to Clearview, Oklahoma, and police strongly believe Pease's remains may be in that area. Authorities are asking the community for any information that will lead to her recovery so she can be properly laid to rest.
