Domestic mutual funds stay bullish on equities in May

According to the data from NSDL, the equity portfolio value of domestic mutual funds grew by 52% year-on-year to Rs 37.4 lakh crore in May. For the overall institutional equity portfolio, it rose by 37% to Rs 180.9 lakh crore. The share of domestic mutual funds in the overall assets under management (AUM) of institutional equities rose to 20.7% compared with 18.6% a year ago.
