Free landfill day in Topeka this weekend

TOPEKA (KSNT) - The Rolling Meadows Waste Management landfill will host a free landfill day this weekend.

From 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 15, you can bring your waste to 7351 NW Highway 75. All loads must be covered.

Certain hazardous items such as appliances with freon, e-waste, liquids, tires and anything hazardous won't be accepted. Waste such as tree branches, building materials, concrete and rocks are acceptable. The event is not open to businesses.
