Capital Region nonprofit hosts 5K fundraiser

Good Karma of the Capital Region is raising money for three nonprofits with its 10th Annual Good Karma 5K Walk or Run on Saturday, June 15.

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Good Karma of the Capital Region is raising money for three nonprofits with its 10th Annual Good Karma 5K Walk or Run on Saturday, June 15. The 5K starts at 9:30 a.m. at Shenendehowa High School and offers a Bollywood-themed race experience.

Participants can register online or in person on Saturday at 8 a.m. The day begins at 9 a.m. with a free kid's half-mile fun run, followed by a yoga warm-up at 9:10 a.m. before the 5K kickoff.

The flat course begins at the high school, and both handcycles and strollers are welcome. Post-race activities include free massages, Indian street food, henna artists, and Bollywood-themed activities.
