Motorcycle driver hospitalized in Menands crash

MENANDS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A motorcyclist was hospitalized after crashing into a commercial vehicle on Monday, June 3, on I-787 in Menands. State Police say the driver is in critical condition.

State Police say a preliminary investigation found the motorcycle and commercial vehicle were driving north on I-787 when the motorcycle struck the side of the commercial vehicle's trailer. The motorcyclist was ejected and sustained serious injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
