Clifton Park mini-golf course under new ownership

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Players Park, located at 1012 Route 146A in Clifton Park, is under new ownership. Eagle Crest Golf Club, located right next door, bought the mini-golf course and ice cream spot.

Kayla Battiste, Facilities Coordinator for Eagle Crest Golf Club, said the property is currently undergoing renovations and will be reopening as "The Nest at Eagle Crest." They plan to open the mini-golf course in the next few weeks and the ice cream stand soon after that. The stand will have both soft-serve and hard ice cream.

Eagle Crest is also adding a lit-up Par 3 course that should open toward the end of the summer. Battiste said the Northeastern New York PGA Section moved into The Nest office space and will be having player development and junior golf clinics on the mini golf and Par 3 courses, the Eagle Crest range, and the full Eagle Crest course.

"We are very excited to collaborate with NENY PGA and to expand our golf opportunities to a wider range of player abilities and ages," said Battiste.
