I speak to Tom every day – he sends me signs to prove he’s still with me, says The Wanted star’s widow Kelsey

TOM Parker’s widow has told how The Wanted star sends her signs so they can still speak to each other every day.

Spiritual Kelsey, 33, emotionally opened up about dealing with life after the death of her “soulmate”.

Tom died from a brain tumour in 2022, leaving behind Kelsey and their two young children, Aurelia, four, and Bodhi, three.

She now looks for signs to communicate with Tom – and has even written a book to help others dealing with grief called Kelsey Parker: With And Without You.

Speaking to The Sun, Kelsey said: “I really believe in it. I’ll look for a sign somewhere because they are everywhere. I mean, literally, even now as I’m talking to you a robin is sat by the window.

“Usually Tom communicates through electrics. I’ll be watching the TV, and he’ll just switch it off or it will go fuzzy.

“Other times I might not be able to switch the TV on, it’s really weird.

“I’ve had car alarms go off in at my early hours of the morning and my gates not being able to open.

“He also sends signs through numbers. The number seven, that’s my number.

“Our friends’ children have all been born on the 7th of the month since he passed away.

“My friend Rosie had a baby, and I knew that seven was going to be in in it. She was literally seven pounds, and came on the 17th.”

Kelsey has faced criticism over her beliefs from online trolls, but has hit back, saying: “You’ve not lived my life.”

The mum of two said: “You have to look for something that gives you comfort. People might listen to this and go, ‘hat a load of c**p!

“It might not work for them, but it works for me. So why not? It keeps me happy. It gives me peace of mind. It gives me something to talk to the children about and I honestly do believe in so each to their own.

“I just think, why don’t you walk around in my shoes then come back to me and give your opinion.

“You’ve not lived my life so you actually aren’t entitled to an opinion. I wouldn’t have an opinion on what other people doing.”

Instead, Kelsey is busy bringing up her two young children who talk about their daddy all the time.

She continued: “Obviously, they’re getting older and so the questions have changed and how they’re processing what’s happened.

“Their questions are always going to be, ‘why, why did that happen to my dad? Why did my dad die? Why did my dad get a brain tumour’.

“I can’t answer those questions because why did that happen?”

Despite the heartbreaking loss of her childhood sweetheart, Kelsey refuses to carry around anger.

Instead she continues to honour his memory – and on Father’s Day this Saturday will honest a Tom Parker Charity Football Match for the second time.

Last year, the sporting event raised cash to raise awareness for stage four glioblastoma brain cancer – the exact same condition from which Tom passed.

“I tell the children, that ‘yes, daddy did get a brain tumour, and this is what’s happened to us. It’s our story. We just have to continue life for Daddy.

“The charity match is about honouring his memory, but also just helping people.

“And I just think it’s nice for the kids to be able to celebrate their dad with everyone.”

Kelsey Parker: With And Without You, published by Mirror Books, is on sale in paperback now for £9.99.
