Drunk driving suspected in multi-vehicle crash involving TriMet bus, police say

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A driver accused of drunk driving is in custody Monday morning after a multi-vehicle crash that impacted a TriMet bus on SE Powell Boulevard, according to Portland Police.

Officers responded to the intersection of SE Milwaukie Avenue and Powell Boulevard just before 1 a.m. and found several vehicles had been impacted in the crash. However, no injuries were reported.

Details of the crash as well as the identity of the driver have yet to be shared with the public. Police said alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
