ChatGPT maker OpenAI hires Nextdoor's Sarah Friar as CFO

OpenAI said on Monday it has hired Sarah Friar, most recently the CEO of Nextdoor, as its first chief financial officer. The artificial intelligence firm has also appointed Kevin Weil, who has previously worked at Twitter and Instagram, as chief product officer.
