The 2024 Stanley Cup Finals pick back up tonight with Game 2, which will see the Edmonton Oilers vs. Florida Panthers face off again in Florida. We'll show you how to watch the Stanley Cup Finals from home, whether you have cable or are looking for a live streaming alternative.

The Panthers are leading the finals following a Game 1 victory on Saturday night. The Florida team won 3-0, leading to a Game 1 finals shutout for the first time in over a decade. The Panthers' goalie, Sergei Bobrovsky, was a true MVP during the game and made over 30 saves throughout the night, effectively blocking out all of the Oilers' attempts to score.

Tonight's game will see if the Oilers will be able to turn it around. The Canadian team was a Stanley Cup mainstay in the 80s and very early 90s, but this is their first time at the finals since 2006. The Panthers, on the other hand, made it to the finals last year but ultimately lost out to the Vegas Golden Knights.

Whether you're rooting for the Panthers or Oilers, we've got you covered when it comes to how to watch tonight's game. The options below will work for all 2024 finals games, including any potential games after Game 4. Make sure to bookmark our NHL Playoffs hub for additional info, including what time the puck drops each night.

How to watch Stanley Cup Finals in the US

Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals will air on ABC on Monday at 8 p.m. ET in the US. If you don't have cable (or an antenna), you can try out a live streaming alternative. The cheapest option tonight is ESPN+, which starts at $10.99 a month. You can catch all of 2024 Stanley Cup Finals here. This is also the streaming home of select ABC and ESPN games across a variety of sports, in addition to must-see UFC coverage.

If you'd rather try a cable alternative live TV streaming package, Sling TV and Fubo might be able to help you out. Sling TV allows you to access ABC in select regions by subscribing to Sling Orange + Blue for $55 a month, but new users can currently get half off their first month. Sling's local channel coverage is selective, so you should look up which channels are available in your region using your zip code before purchasing a subscription. You can also check out Sling's local channels page for more information.

At $79.99, Fubo is the more expensive live TV package we're highlighting today, but it offers pretty broad ABC coverage and a ton of other channels (as always, you should still look up your zip code before subscribing to ensure that your region has access to the channels you want). New users can try Fubo free for one week.

How to watch Stanley Cup Finals from anywhere

If you'll be traveling outside of the United States during tonight's game (or any of the upcoming games), you can still keep up with your subscriptions via VPN (virtual private network). VPNs allow you to change your device's virtual location to keep up with your usual websites and apps while traveling. Since the services we've outlined today require US forms of payment, this suggestion will be best for Americans who are simply traveling abroad at the moment.

Our go-to VPN recommendation is ExpressVPN, which is beginner-friendly and comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Check out our ExpressVPN review for additional details, and keep reading to learn how to use a VPN.

How to watch Stanley Cup Finals with a VPN

  • Sign up for a VPN if you don't already have one.
  • Install it on the device you're planning to watch on.
  • Turn it on and set it to a US location.
  • Sign up for a live streaming package and navigate to ABC.
  • Enjoy the game!

Note: The use of VPNs is illegal in certain countries, and using VPNs to access region-locked streaming content might constitute a breach of the terms of use for certain services. Insider does not endorse or condone the illegal use of VPNs.
