Clearer & warmer weather returning to Central Ohio, much warmer by the weekend
It's been a cool and cloudy start to the work week after a cold front slid through over the weekend. However, by tomorrow we'll see some decent improvements. Past tomorrow, a warming trend settles in that potentially brings the hottest weather of the year so far.

It's been a cool and cloudy start to the work week after a cold front slid through over the weekend. However, by tomorrow we'll see some decent improvements. Past tomorrow, a warming trend settles in that potentially brings the hottest weather of the year so far.
High pressure will push in overnight, clearing out the majority of our cloud cover. Combined with some light northerly flow, temperatures will get a little cooler by tomorrow morning. Throughout the day on Tuesday, sunshine will remain steady. Temperatures will push back into the mid 70s by tomorrow afternoon.
The warmup continues through the middle of the week. Temperatures will climb to the upper 80s for Thursday and Friday. The hottest day of the year still remains at 89 degrees from the later portion of May. Late Thursday, we'll get a chance to see a few showers.
A fairly weak cold front will move through Thursday night into Friday. This brings light chances of a few showers and a couple of storms. Temperatures receive only a minor setback with numbers falling to the mid 80s by Saturday.
The weekend looks like a traditional summer setup. Plenty of sunshine will be here for Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures are near seasonable for Saturday, but we jump into the lower 90s by Sunday as an upper level ridge settles in. The start of next week looks even warmer with temperatures building into the mid 90s.
