Selma Blair Turned Heads With This Dramatic, 1980s-Inspired Hair Transformation

Over the years, we’ve seen every step of Selma Blair’s hair journey. We’ve seen her brunette, blonde, and gray hair era after her chemotherapy. She’s looked so beautiful in it all, and recently, she arrived on the red carpet with a daring hair transformation that totally gives off 1980s vibes.

In case you missed it, on June 10, Blair was at the Tribeca Film Festival (where she is actually serving as a juror in the Nora Ephron category). Specifically, she arrived at the Chanel Arts Dinner held at the Odeon. And when she arrived, all eyes were on her. Not only did she look stunning, but fans are obsessed with her curly, 80s-inspired locks!

For the event, Blair rocked a blue and black Chanel ensemble, but the star of the show and her look was definitely her crimped, curly hair! Now, Blair typically rocks a blunt bob or pixie cut, so we love that she added a new style to her predominantly straight, short hair look.

2024 is all about shaking things up, and that’s surely what Blair did.

In a previous interview with Town and Country, Blair talked about how she stays grateful throughout all the changes that have come her way, from beauty to health.

“I am aware my challenges affect other hopeful or isolated people—and a few of them may be joyful snobs like me,” she said. “I’m very comfortable in my body, mostly because I am now making a deeper positive connection with it. I am fascinated by this body and this life. I am humbled and pleased to be any inspiration for people.”
