FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Central Ohio is about to see a lot more sunshine. With these sunnier skies, we are also tracking a big increase in our temperatures. By the start of next week 90 degree temps are still expected to arrive across the area. Very little rain chances are on the table.

Today high pressure will build over the region allowing for plenty of sunshine. Highs will reach the mid 70s. This is the last day that central Ohio will see below average temperatures for the foreseeable time. Because of the high pressure, winds will also be very light today.

Overnight a few more passing clouds move in, but will mostly clear up again by the morning commute. Temperatures will remain mild tonight. Lows will fall to the mid 50.

Tomorrow will bring more seasonable conditions. Highs will reach the low 80s. Even more sunshine is expected throughout the day with light winds continuing. In general it will be a very fair day.

Rain chances will be kept to a minimum the rest of the week. Only a small chance for a pop-up storm or two Thursday night into Friday morning is possible. By Sunday central Ohio will try and pass the 90 degree mark for the first time this year.
