Keke Palmer’s Baby Leo Was a Stage 5 Clinger During Singing Rehearsals in an Adorable Video
Keke Palmer shared behind-the-scenes footage of a recent singing rehearsal, and her 15-month-old son Leodis “Leo” Andrellton stuck to her like flies on honey. The toddler, who Palmer shares with estranged ex Darius Jackson, only wanted his mama while she was trying to work, and the “Assets” singer handled it like a pro. She shared a video of the special moment on X, and it shows how sweet mama’s boys truly are.
The Password star shared on video on Monday of an interview she did before a recent performance. She opens up about how much she enjoys spending time with her only son. “I love doing stuff with my son, oh my gosh,” she gushes in the cute video. Palmer then recalled the rehearsals for the shows he had done earlier, “He literally was wanting to be on stage with me,” she says.
In footage from the rehearsal, Leo tries to climb up the steps to the stage, when a caregiver pulls him back to stop him at the last second. “I tried to get him off, and he’s like, ‘No, girl,’” she says in her interview. Later, the video cuts to Palmer in her rehearsal clothes — a black sweatshirt and leggings — as she walks toward the side of the stage.
“He can be up here,” she says with her arms outstretched toward her little boy. “I’ll do ‘Ungorgeous’ now. … so he can be up there with me,” she adds, picking up Leo and carrying him on her hip to the center of the stage. She dances with Leo on her hip as he tries to grab her mic. He’s so cute and content with his mama!
“It’s really, really cool to just continue to see him grow and have us share experiences,” Palmer says later. “He’s only one, so I really also can’t wait ‘till he’s five where we could really start getting stuff. Because I know we’re going to be dancing — I just feel like we’re gonna be doing everything together.”

Another reason Leo loves being on stage with his mom? He’s already a little entertainer himself! The Nope actress shared a video of Leo last month, where she sings to Leo to try to get him to “say Mama’s name.” As soon as she starts singing, Leo becomes locked in, swinging his hips to every “mama” perfectly in rhythm. “Hips moving on beat. Yeah!” she praises.
“I love being a mom more than I thought I would, and that was a lot already! I want a whole soccer team ????,” Palmer jokingly wrote in her caption, adding, “Children are the light of the world and my son is the centerpiece of mine. I’ll do anything for Master Leodis ????????????????????????????????????”
