The Traitors star lands HUGE new BBC job – after getting to tense final of show
THE Traitors star Jaz Singh has landed a major new presenting role with the BBC as his media career continues to go from strength to strength.
The TV super sleuth was revealed to have landed his very own show with the corporation and it is set to kick off in just a week’s time.
Jaz Singh has landed himself a huge new job at the BBC[/caption]Jaz will be taking control of Monday evening on the BBC Asian Network where he will host the Asian Network Motivation slot.
He will be heard on the airwaves across the country between 8pm and 10pm on the network.
Congratulating him on the role, the BBC said: “Welcome to the family Jaz, we can’t wait to tune in!”
It marks Jaz’s first permanent presenting role since rising to fame on the mystery show.
Confirming his appoitment to the role, the star added: “I can officially announce & have the complete privilege to share with you all that I’ll be joining @bbcasiannetwork as a presenter, bringing you all things motivation!!
“YES THAT’S RIGHT, you get to hear more of me and my tunes on #Radio getting you in the best frame of mind, starting off with my first show Monday 17th June chatting about what The Traitors taught me.
“There might be a few exclusives in store too.
“Absolutely buzzingggg and grateful for this amazing opportunity that has come my way AND this is just the beginning.
“Thank you to everybody involved in making this happen.”
The fan favourite garnered the nickname Jazatha Christie during his time on the show after using stealthy tactics to uncover who he thought were the traitors.
Despite his theories often proving right, Jaz kept most of his thoughts quiet in a bid to go undetected.
The TV hunk made it all the way to the final but fell at the last moment when he was voted off by Mollie Pearce and eventual winner, and Traitor, Harry Clark.
As a breakout star of the show, his latest BBC role comes just months after he was snapped up by ITV‘s This Morning for a guest hosting stint.
He hosted a special mini documentary series on Agatha Christie for the daytime show.
