What We’re Tracking

  • Mainly sunny days ahead
  • Storm chance late Thursday
  • Turning hotter & more humid

Temperatures will drop back into the middle to upper 60s tonight with a slight increase in humidity with continued southerly breezes. Still not in the muggy air just yet, but it will continue to build in.

Even hotter weather by midweek as we reach the lower 90s by Wednesday as a summer-like pattern settles in. Temperatures climb into the middle 90s, possibly a few upper 90s by Thursday. When you combine the higher humidity, heat indices on Thursday should range between 100°-105° for the afternoon hours. That heat settles back a touch on Friday, but still very warm to hot weather through the weekend.

With high pressure becoming our dominant pattern for the week, rain chances are limited. We have a chance for a few isolated storms by Thursday night, possibly another one late in the weekend. Other than that, there will be lots of dry time.
