Make-A-Wish to grant wish for local Whitehall teen

WHITEHALL, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Make-A-Wish Northeast New York has announced that it will be granting a wish for a local teen in Whitehall. Autumn Emond is a 17-year-old girl with a genetic heart condition and her wish is to have a "she-shed."

On Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be a painting party at the she-shed. Autumn, her friends and family, Make-A-Wish Northeast New York, and the constructors of the shed will gather to put the finishing touches on the shed to celebrate the official granting of Autumn's wish.

The shed will be comfortable for three seasons with a small porch and half walls with screens. BBL Companies, HCP Architects, Curtis Lumber, and other community supporters constructed the shed.
