EB I-10 closed at Calcasieu River Bridge until further notice
Both lanes of Interstate 10 eastbound over the Calcasieu River Bridge are closed, effective immediately, for emergency repairs.
LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY) – If you or someone you know is headed to Acadiana from Texas on I-10 any time soon, expect some delays.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that both lanes of Interstate 10 eastbound over the Calcasieu River Bridge are closed, effective immediately, for emergency repairs. The emergency closure is necessary for crews to repair a broken finger joint. The closure is expected to remain in place into this evening, DOTD said.
The closure will remain in place until further notice. DOTD will issue an update once the closure is lifted.
