One dead in southeast Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- One person is dead after a shooting Tuesday afternoon in southeast Columbus.

A police dispatcher said that a call was received at 1:20 p.m. regarding a shooting at the 5600 block of Chatterton Road. One victim was found and pronounced dead at 1:29 p.m.

Columbus police is at the scene investigating the shooting. No further information is known at this time.
