This is an episode Duke fans are going to enjoy

The latest edition of the Brotherhood Podcast is out and it’s a big get this time: last year’s Rookie of the Year, star of the Orlando Magic and Duke great Paolo Banchero drops by.

Banchero haș matured a lot. One of the great things about him at Duke was his hilarious combination of immense talent and naiveté. He would say things that he wouldn’t say these days and at times you assumed that the staff pulled him aside and said something like we’re not here to shut you up, we believe in you, but pay attention to how what you’re saying is perceived.

We’re not sure how the hosting works but presumably Ryan Young is no longer hosting or at least is not hosting this episode. That would make sense since he’s graduated/finished/moved on but he was really good at hosting this show.

The new host? For this episode, it’s Caleb Foster. Basically, it was going to be Foster, or Tyrese Proctor or perhaps Stanley Borden, Spencer Hubbard or Neil Begovich. It could have been one of the new guys, but realistically, it’s best if it’s someone with a better sense of the program’s priorities and values.

Foster reveals here that Banchero hosted him on his first official visit to Duke and they have an interesting and lively conversation.

Obviously we’re Duke fans but we really admire how much the program allows the players to be so prominent on social media. What’s evident is that the coaches, past and present, trust them to be mature, intelligent faces of Duke Basketball. It’s honestly a great pleasure to see these guys on camera and online in general.
