Violent Kansas Felon Throws His Hat In The Ring

Just hours before the deadline, Michael Allen Ogle, a Kansas man who pleaded guilty to a violent crime, submitted the paperwork to run for the 2nd District seat being vacated by U.S. Rep. Jake LaTurner.

“The majority of Kansas is probably going to vote for a felon for president,” said the newly minted candidate, Michael Allen Ogle, as quoted by KSNT. “So I figured why not take my shot, and you can vote for two if you want.” Trump is an inspiration to criminals everywhere. “Felons, Donald Trump should be an inspiration,” Ogle posted Thursday on Facebook.

Ogle ended up spending 55 days in jail after entering the guilty plea and was given a two-year suspended sentence. He also lost the right to own a firearm, but he hopes to expunge his record and get his right to bear arms back.
