Andy Cohen’s Son Ben Spots His Magazine Covers in the Wild & His Reaction Is Unbelievably Cute
Five-year-old Ben Cohen knows his dad Andy Cohen is famous. He’s even visited him on the Watch What Happens Live set several times. But knowing his dad’s a celebrity and seeing pictures of his dad everywhere are two completely different things. Ben recently spotted a newsstand selling tons of copies of New York Magazine, with his dad’s face on the cover, and his reaction is full of joy.
“Took Ben to the newsstand and he basically had the same reaction I did!” the Bravo TV host captioned a video on Instagram Thursday. The magazine is a close-up of Cohen’s face, while several well-manicured hands reach out and touch him, with “Andy Cohen vs. The Housewives” written on front. As Cohen walks up to the stand, filled with rows and rows of this magazine, you can hear Ben off camera laughing and saying, “Daddy!”
“Is that so funny?” Cohen asks his son.
“Daddy. Dad. That’s you, dad!” Ben says, uncontrollably giggling. He is so cute, oh my goodness.
“Can you believe it?” Cohen asks, prompting Ben to reply, “I can’t.” Later Ben commented, “A lot of people like those books!”
They turn the corner together, and even more copies of the magazine are on full display. “What?!” shouts Ben, clearly surprised. “Daddy, there’s so many,” he says. “Daddy, that’s you. Daddy, that’s all your fault. And now it’s on the books!” Ben is clearly floored by this. What a cool moment for Cohen!
People were loving it. “’Daddy, it’s all your fault’ ???? So amazing! That face was made to grace mag covers!” one person wrote. “Love that Big Ben gets to see at a very young age that any dream is possible!!! ❤️❤️❤️” someone else wrote.
Real Housewives star Gizelle Bryant commented, “Now that’s a moment! Too cute!” Khloé Kardashian even sent some love, commenting, “❤️❤️.”
In the cover interview, there’s a picture of Cohen walking his son to school, with Ben riding happily on his dad’s shoulders. The little boy also interrupted his interview, coming up to his dad saying, “Hi, Andy Cohen.” “He’s totally taking the piss out of me,” Cohen told the outlet. “Because he thinks it’s so funny that people come up to me all the time and are like, ‘Andy Cohen, Andy Cohen.’”
Cohen shared a video in April playing Legos with his son, and you can hear the 5-year-old call his dad by his real name. “Ben, I have to say you are very good at following directions,” Cohen comments, prompting Ben to sigh and say, “Oh, Andyyyy Cohen.”
“You can call me ‘Daddy.’ OK?” he responds.
“You can call me ‘Andy Cohen,’” Ben answers, adding. “I mean, you can call me ‘Ben.’” Oh man, this kid will keep Cohen on his toes! And when he isn’t available, Cohen’s daughter Lucy, 2, will be there. (He just thought the Housewives were bad!)
