ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The restaurant industry is ever-changing with restaurants opening, closing, relocating, or just doing their thing. Here’s a recap of the latest Capital Region restaurant news, June 10 through 14.

Capital Region restaurant inspections: June 3-7

Here are the inspections from June 3 to 7 reported by the NYSDOH divided up by critical violations, non-critical violations, and no violations. You can find a list of all restaurant inspections for the last several years on the NYSDOH website.

New sushi restaurant opening in Saratoga Springs

Briana Lin is set to open her seventh restaurant in the Capital Region. Omakase Sushi and Grill will be opening in the former 30 Lake space inside the Perennial Apartments in Saratoga Springs.

‘Hell’s Kitchen’ alum sets opening for Warrensburg restaurant

Billy Trudsoe, who competed on season 21 of the FOX show “Hell’s Kitchen” with Gordon Ramsay, is soon opening Lizzie Keays Kitchen & Cocktails in Warrensburg. This is Trudsoe’s first restaurant where he is both owner and chef.

Participating lineup for 518 Black Restaurant Week

518 Black Restaurant Week is returning for its second year from June 17 to 23. Over 20 restaurants around the Albany area are participating.

Adirondack Wine & Food Fest returning to Lake George

The Adirondack Wine and Food Festival is returning to Lake George’s Charles R. Wood Festival Commons for its eighth year on June 29 and 30. The festival features 140 wineries, distilleries, breweries, cideries, artisan food producers, food trucks, crafters, and more.

Baskin-Robbins opens in Guilderland

Baskin-Robbins has made its return to the Capital Region by opening up a shop in Guilderland’s Hamilton Square. Local franchise owner Taslim Yousaf told NEWS10 that the ice cream shop had its soft opening on June 14, with its grand opening set for June 22.

Saratoga’s Broadway Deli owners opening new concept

Daniel and Jen Chessare, the owners of Saratoga’s Broadway Deli, are opening up a new concept in the Spa City. Bibulous will be a full-service dessert bar located at 35 Henry Street.

Construction underway for Chick-fil-A in Albany

A new Chick-fil-A location is officially coming to Albany. Chick-fil-A confirmed to NEWS10 that construction is underway on the new location.
