Brits using hot water bottles and electric blankets in summer as temps fall to 7C

This time last year the country was basking in a heatwave with temperatures soaring into the 30Cs. The mercury even hit a sweltering 32C in London on June 11 last year. Thermometers hit just 7C overnight in Edinburgh.
