Eight Naxalites, one security personnel killed in encounter in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur

An encounter in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district resulted in the deaths of eight Naxalites and one security personnel on Saturday, as confirmed by a police official. The gunfight occurred during an anti-Naxal operation conducted by a joint team of security personnel from Narayanpur, Kanker, Dantewada, and Kondagaon districts. The operation, launched on June 12, involved personnel from the District Reserve Guard (DRG), Special Task Force (STF), and the 53rd battalion of the Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
