Tori Spelling Just Debunked This Mysterious Rumor About Her Housing Situation

So, y’know those former neighbors that claimed Tori Spelling trashed her new rental? Yeah, she shut that down real quick, with the help of her actual landlord.

In case you need a recap, Spelling rented a $15,000-a-month home in San Fernando Valley, but eyewitnesses claim she left home on June 1. Neighbors claimed to DailyMail that she allegedly trashed the place, and that’s why she left in a hurry. Turns out, that’s not the case at all, per Spelling and her former landlord.

On her podcast MisSpelling, she said that report was “totally false.” Her former landlord and temporary housing manager, Katie, clarified why there was furniture on the curb, saying it was “a couple of years old” and getting rid of it “had nothing to do with” Spelling.

“You’ve been a great tenant, and I have nothing but good things to say about you and my experience with you,” Katie said. “I’ve never seen anything so ridiculous in my life. We replace furniture all the time in these properties. … This is actually crazy to me that anybody would take the time to take pictures of a debris pickup from the city.”

While Spelling said she’s not the “cleanest, most organized person,” she clarified she’d never trash a home, especially a rental. “We lead with our hearts, and I would never trash somebody’s property. … Putting out false stories is just incredibly awful and hurtful on a really deep level to people.”

Now, is she still at the property? It doesn’t seem so. She did say on the June 14 podcast episode that she does have a “permanent residence now,” but didn’t specify anything.

In the past year, Spelling and her kids have jumped from their original home to motels, trailers, hostels, and finally, the controversial swanky rental. But now, it seems like they’re happy and settled; and we love to hear that.
