All 34 ‘Elsbeth’ Emmy submissions: Carrie Preston, Wendell Pierce, Jane Krakowski …

“Elsbeth” has finalized its plans for the 2024 Emmys, so awards voters should better start learning how to correctly spell E-L-S-B-E-T-H T-A-S-C-I-O-N-I. (See the complete list of Emmy submissions below.) Season 1 of CBS’s procedural dramedy moved Carrie Preston‘s quirky character from Chicago (where she practiced law on “The Good Wife” and “The Good Fight”) to New York City (where she’s now overseeing detectives as part of a consent decree). In total, the program is vying for 34 Emmy Awards on the 2024 ballot.

All 10 episodes of “Elsbeth” aired this spring on the eye network, and focused primarily on Miss Tascioni solving murder cases each week with the help of Captain C.W. Wagner (Wendell Pierce) and Officer Kaya Blanke (Carra Patterson). Note that Preston has already won an Emmy Award for playing Elsbeth, in the Best Drama Guest Actress category for “The Good Wife” (2013).

In addition to series regulars Preston, Pierce and Patterson, CBS has submitted 12 high-profile guest stars on the ballot: Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Skip Mason, Keegan-Michael Key as Ashton Hayes, Arian Moayed as Joe, Stephen Moyer as Alex Modarian, Blair Underwood as Cliff McGrath, Laura Benanti as Nadine, Gina Gershon as Dr. Vanessa Holmes, Jane Krakowski as Joann Lenox, Elizabeth Lail as Quinn, Linda Lavin as Gloria Blecher, Retta as Margo Clarke and Gloria Reuben as Claudia Payne.
