MYLEENE Klass ‘wants to expose juicy diary details’ from her Hear’Say days in a gritty new documentary.
The 46-year-old was picked to be in the pop band after auditioning for ITV reality show, Popstars, in 2001.
Myleene was joined by Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, Danny Foster and Noel Sullivan and the five-piece broke chart records with their debut single, Pure and Simple.
However, Kym left the band in January 2002 and Hear’Say split months later in October 2022.
Myleene has gone on to have a successful career as a solo artist and radio and TV personality, but now she wants to use her experience of being on a talent show and in a band for a new documentary.
Sources close to Myleene told The Mirror she is on the cusp of approaching production companies with her idea, having kept her diaries from her days in Hear’Say.
The insider told the publication: “She thinks it would make a fantastic documentary on the likes of Channel 4 or one of the streaming services to show how wild it was in comparison to today’s standards.
“It would make cult viewing 20 years on.”
Last year, Myleene discussed her juicy diaries, telling The Independent: “They are under lock and key with a lawyer. I think they’re just too libellous.
“Honestly. I really don’t think I could! I think it’d just be a litigation nightmare. Everyone’s in there.
“I wrote about everything, everybody we met. And you have to remember, we met everybody.”
She added of being in the band: “There’s nothing light and fluffy about it at all – you get dragged up quickly, otherwise you get swallowed up.”
Kym, 48, previously opened up about her days in Hear’Say in her autobiography, From the Heart.
She recalled sharing a room with Myleene as the group prepared to launch themselves into the pop world.
She said: “Neither of us could believe we’d been selected. It felt like all my dreams were coming true.
“We were in a whirlwind of promotional events and photoshoots.”
