Reddit user CosmeLuna admitted that she has “pretty thick, dark eyebrows.”

She shared in a post that she considers them “like a bonsai tree.”

Bonsai trees usually can be left alone to grow naturally and just need to be kept healthy.

Once or twice a year, she lets her bushy eyebrows “completely grow out.”

This is meant to reset the shape and prevent overplucking.

Then when the time comes she tweezes her brows to bring back the shape.

“One thing COVID has simplified is finding a window where your face bushes can run free,” the original poster joked.

She shared the step-by-step process to bring them back to their original look.

“I follow the flow of my natural eyebrow arch, tweezing on the underside near the arch, and on top near the center/nose,” she explained.

Then, she plucks all the various pesky hairs around the area.

In the second to last step, she said she takes a brow brush and lays down all the hairs upward, or in the natural direction they want to lay.

Lastly, she trims them along the edge of the brow so they look put together.

If done correctly, she said this trims “all the long hairs that want to be wavy or stick up randomly.”

“It also creates a nice clean look,” she added.

The Reddit user also shared a quick maintenance trick for girlies on the go.

“In a rush, I’ll use a razor to keep the fine hairs at bay,” she said.

About once a week or so, she said she tweezes “specific hairs” that regrow back faster than others.

She said those are the ones that are “particularly close” to the “edit lines.”

The Reddit user said she has “never loved” any other method because others just aren’t as precise.

“If I didn’t know better, I swear I would think I wrote this myself. Yes!!!” another Redditor agreed.

“This. Just wanted to place extra emphasis on the part about growing them out completely once or twice a year. So so important,” another added.
