Paul Coughlin was the man who produced the brilliant catch with his follow through.

Lancashire’s batsmen Matthew Hurst was attempting to step down the track but instead got a leading edge on the ball.

The 31-year-old Coughlin initially dived to try and save himself, but he remarkably managed to get his hands around it for an awesome catch.

Durham’s official X account were quick to share footage of the jaw-dropping act.

They captioned the clip with: “OH MY WORD!!!! PAUL COUGHLIN.

“HOW HAVE YOU CAUGHT THAT!!!!”

It did not take long for it to start going viral on social media.
